10 Predictions For The WWE Tag Team Divisions In 2019

Here are some of our early predictions for the WWE tag team divisions in 2019. This includes RAW, Smackdown, NXT and more!

10) One Of The RAW or Smackdown Tag Team Divisions Will Not Make The Wrestlemania 35 Card

My gut feeling right now is that one of the tag team divisions is going to end up not making the Wrestlemania 35 card. That means either the RAW Tag Team Championship or the Smackdown Tag Team Championship won’t be defended at the event.

I say that because it feels like the tag team divisions are on the back-burner for both RAW and Smackdown. They both don’t seem very important, which makes them easy to cut from the card.

My early guess is that the RAW tag team division doesn’t make the cut. That division has been a mess for the past several months and there is more talent on the blue brand right now.

9) The New Day Will Be Moved To RAW In The 2019 WWE Superstar Shake-Up

I am operating under the assumption that WWE is going to be doing a Superstar Shake-Up in 2019. If that happens, I expect the New Day to move over to RAW.

In my opinion, WWE needs to split up the New Day and the Usos. I love both teams but I think it would be much better with both of them on separate brands. This would provide both RAW and Smackdown with plenty of fresh matches right away.

My early guess is that the New Day moves over to RAW, which would be a much-needed boost for the RAW Tag team division.

8) The Revival Will Be Moved To Smackdown In The 2019 WWE Superstar Shake-Up

The Revival hasn’t had the greatest booking since joining the WWE main roster. Along with some injury issues, they have not been able to find the magic that they had in NXT.

I think the Revival is going to be moved over to the Smackdown tag team division. I think this would be a great chance for them to regain some of the momentum that they have lost.

There are some great matches for them on the blue brand. This includes with the Usos, the Bar, Anderson/Gallows and Sanity.
