On Monday Night RAW this week, Dean Ambrose got WWE fans talking. This came after he brought up Roman Reigns’ battle with leukemia during his promo backstage on Seth Rollins.
Ambrose said: “We’re all gonna get what we deserve. I mean look at Roman. For Roman’s part and what Roman did in The Shield, he has to answer to the man upstairs. But what’s worse, is you have to answer to me.”
This drew some criticism from fans, who think that it crossed the line.
Dave Meltzer provided some insight into Reigns’ leukemia being used to draw heat on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio (subscribe here).
Despite the criticism, Meltzer says that we are going to hear more lines about Reigns’ battle with leukemia in the upcoming weeks on Monday Night RAW. It is expected to be used more in the feud involving Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins.
No word yet on how much it will be brought up, but a decision was made by Vince McMahon to use it as a part of the storyline moving forward.

On a related note, Triple H recently explained why Reigns didn’t make his battle with leukemia public. You can read more about that here.
