Triple H participated in a media call after NXT Takeover: War Games II finished. During the media call, Triple H spoke on a variety of topics about the Takeover event and the future of NXT.
During the call, Triple H provided injury updates on Pete Dunne and Bobby Fish. Both guys were participants in the War Games match that main evented the show.
Here is what Triple H had to say (h/t to Fightful):
“Yeah both [Bobby Fish and Pete Dunne are] fine. He [Fish] came back and was fine. He had a moment in the ring when he… you know, when you’ve had something surgically repaired, the first moment you take the big shot to that surgically repaired thing, there’s a moment where you’re like, ‘Oh my God, I did it again’ and then you realize, ‘No wait, no, it held together. I’m good.
I think that happened to him in the match and he just went with it from there on out. Yeah, he was fine.”
Great news to hear that they are both okay!
