Interesting Note On The Original Plans For Becky Lynch vs Ronda Rousey

The news broke earlier this week that Becky Lynch had been forced out of Survivor Series due to injury. Becky was originally supposed to face off against Ronda Rousey at the event. Ronda will now be facing Charlotte Flair instead.

This match being changed has come as big disappointment to many fans. Becky vs Ronda had a great storyline build and fans were really excited to see them face off.

We have an interesting note to pass your way about the original plan for Becky vs Ronda.

John Pollock of POST Wrestling says he has heard from a source that WWE’s plan prior to the injury was for Becky vs Ronda to go on last as the main event of Survivor Series.

This shows you how strong that WWE viewed this match before the injury to Becky. This would have been the first time that Women had closed Survivor Series in the history of the event. It is unclear if that will change now that we are getting Charlotte vs Ronda instead.

As noted prior, a new report suggests that Becky vs Ronda is the current favorite to main event Wrestlemania 35. If that is the case, it looks like Becky’s injury might have been a blessing in disguise.
