Braun Strowman made a deal with Stephanie McMahon on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW. If he helps Team RAW defeat Smackdown at Survivor Series, she will grant his two demands. The first is a Universal Championship match against Brock Lesnar. The second is a match against Baron Corbin (where he gets to choose the stipulation).
So when is this going to happen? Let’s speculate a little bit.
Let’s start with Brock Lesnar
Brock isn’t currently being advertised for the TLC PPV next month. That probably means we won’t get Brock vs Braun until the Royal Rumble PPV (assuming that Team RAW wins at Survivor Series). Even if Team RAW loses, Braun vs Brock still seems likely to me for the Rumble.
So what about Baron Corbin?
Regardless of if RAW wins at Survivor Series, it seems likely to me that Braun Strowman vs Baron Corbin will be happening at the TLC PPV next month. With Braun wanting to choose the stipulation, that seems like a tease that we could get a TLC match between them at the event.
That would mean Braun vs Baron at TLC (in a TLC match). This would be followed by Brock vs Braun for the Universal Title at the Rumble. That seems to be where WWE is heading with Braun.
