Interesting Theory About The Original Plans For The ‘Constable Corbin’ Role

Baron Corbin has been a major part of Monday Night RAW over the past several months. This came after he was named the ‘Constable’ of Monday Night RAW by Stephanie McMahon.

I have stumbled across an interesting theory about Corbin and his current position on RAW.  I can’t take the credit for it though, as it was first posted on Reddit. Still, I wanted to share it with you guys because I thought that it was interesting.

The theory suggests that the role Corbin is playing right now (and the push he is getting) was actually supposed to belong to Jason Jordan. That means we would have gotten ‘Constable Jordan’ instead of ‘Constable Corbin’.

It does make sense if you think about it. Jordan and Angle’s relationship was a major part of the storyline on RAW prior to Jordan getting injured. Jordan was also receiving some major boos from the crowd. It would have made a ton of sense for him to turn on Kurt and side with Stephanie McMahon. Think about everything that Corbin is doing right now on RAW and imagine Jordan in that role instead. I feel like the storyline would have potentially been elevated even more if it was a conflict between father and son in the power struggle for Monday Night RAW.

With Jordan getting injured, it forced WWE to change their plans, and they went with Corbin in the role instead. This isn’t a knock against Corbin, either, I think that he has been great in the role so far.

A reminder that this is only just a theory. We probably won’t ever know if that was the original plan or not. ‘Constable Jordan’ would have made a lot of sense in my opinion though.
