Triple H was injured during the WWE Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia. Triple H teamed with Shawn Michaels at the event to take on the Undertaker and Kane. It was clear during the match that Triple H was legitimately hurt as he was really favoring his arm and looked to be in a lot of pain.
After the event was over, WWE announced that Triple H suffered a torn right pectoral muscle.
According to Mike Johnson of PWinsider, Triple H headed directly to Birmingham, Alabama after the match to get surgery.
Based on other wrestlers in the past, a torn pectoral muscle could keep him out anywhere from 5 months at the earliest to 9 months at the worst.
If it is 5 months, Triple H would have a chance to still make the Wrestlemania 35 card. The event takes place on Sunday, April 7th, 2019. WWE teased Triple H vs Batista at Wrestlemania 35 a few weeks ago at Smackdown 1000.
We wish Triple H a speedy recovery. We will let you know if we hear anything more on his status over the next few months.
