Rey Mysterio made it to the semi-finals of the WWE World Cup tournament. After defeating Randy Orton in the first round, he ended up facing the Miz in the semi-finals. The Miz was able to get the better of the injured Mysterio for the win.
Something that you may have missed during the event was that WWE photoshopped Rey Mysterio’s mask.
WWE photoshopped the cross off of Mysterio’s mask. Here is a photo from one of the promo images that aired during the PPV:
As you can see from the photo below, the mask that Rey wore at the event didn’t have a cross on it either. The cross is one of the signatures of Mysterio’s masks.
