Here is what we think will happen over the next few months in the RAW Women’s Championship picture. This includes plans for Ronda Rousey and more. A reminder that this is only our opinion!
Step 1) Ronda Rousey vs Nikki Bella For The RAW Women’s Championship (CONFIRMED)
– WWE Evolution
After weeks of rumors, it was finally made official. Ronda Rousey will defend her RAW Women’s Championship against Nikki Bella. This seems to be the likely main event match of Evolution.
There is no question in my mind that Ronda is going to retain the Title here. I actually think that she and Nikki will put on a better match than what fans are expecting. Ronda will end up winning with an armbar.
Result: Ronda retains.
Step 2) Ronda Rousey vs Becky Lynch In A Champion vs Champion Match
– WWE Survivor Series
My guess is that WWE is going to do Champion vs Champion matches at Survivor Series this year. I have Ronda retaining the Title at Evolution, so she will be the RAW Women’s Champion heading into the event.
As for the Smackdown side of things, I have Becky Lynch retaining at Evolution. As a result, she will be walking into Survivor Series as the Smackdown Women’s Champion.
Ronda vs Becky is a match that I would personally love to see. I think that they would work well together based on their styles. This would be a really solid match for the Survivor Series card.
Result: Ronda would probably win
Step 3) Ronda Rousey vs Nia Jax For The RAW Women’s Championship
– WWE TLC
Just to remind you, the match between Nia Jax and Ronda Rousey didn’t have a clean finish at the Money in the Bank PPV. This was due to the outside interference from Alexa Bliss.
As a result, Nia still is technically owed a rematch here against Ronda. I could see WWE booking it for the TLC PPV event.
This time, Ronda will win the match clean.
Result: Ronda wins
