Here are some last-minute rumors that are floating around about WWE Super Show-Down in Australia.
5) The Length Of The Show
WWE Super Show-Down will be an early start for wrestling fans in North America. The show will be starting at 5:00 AM (EST). We will get a taste of what it is like to be a WWE fan in Europe.
As we noted prior, the WWE Network currently has a 5-hour time slot blocked off for the event. While saying that, a local advertisement shows that the show will likely only be in the 4-hour range. The 5-hour time slot could just be in case a match or two end up running long.
I would say that 4-hours seems like the safe bet, especially with only 10 matches on the card.
4) Title Changes At The Event
There will be four Title matches at WWE Super Show-Down. AJ Styles will put his WWE Championship on the line against Samoa Joe. Becky Lynch will defend her Smackdown Women’s Championship against Charlotte Flair. We will also see the Cruiserweight and Smackdown Tag Team belts defended.
A rumor making the rounds from Cageside Seats suggests that there will be no Title changes taking place at the event. As of writing this, Buddy Murphy is the only challenger that is favored in the betting odds for the event. Even then, the odds are very close.
It looks like we may not see any belts change hands in Australia.
3) The Bella Twins To Turn On Ronda Rousey
One of the biggest rumors making the rounds has to do with the Bella Twins and Ronda Rousey. The trio will face off against the Riott Squad in a 6-woman tag team match at the event.
According to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the plan for the match is to set-up Nikki Bella vs Ronda Rousey for the RAW Women’s Championship at WWE Evolution.
The popular theory is that Nikki (and likely Brie) will turn on Ronda either during or after the match.
