Jason Jordan has been off WWE Television since early February. It was later announced that Jordan needed neck surgery. WWE’s Dr. Joseph Maroon described the surgery by saying: “He had an injury to a disc in his neck which resulted in significant pain that was refractory to all conservative measures. It was decided to do a minimally invasive operation to decompress the nerve, to allow it to heal.”
We have a rumor to pass your way about Jordan.
It is not a positive update. According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, there is still no timetable for Jordan’s return to WWE and his injury is worse than WWE initially thought.
Here is a quote (via Ringside News):
“I heard there is no time frame on when Jordan will be returning to the ring, if at all. That’s why they got him backstage working in production. Apparently, it’s a lot worse [his neck] than they thought it was going to be.”
I think a lot of fans can recognize how serious neck injuries can be. We have seen plenty of Superstars go through them, including Jordan’s Kayfabe dad, Kurt Angle.
It has been about 8 months since Jordan had his surgery. Let’s hope that he is able to fully heal and get back into the ring again.
