The ‘WWE Crown Jewel’ event was officially announced on Monday Night RAW this past week. WWE will be returning to Saudi Arabia for another big PPV event. It will take place on November 2nd in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. WWE has already confirmed one big match for the event. Roman Reigns will defend his WWE Universal Championship against Braun Strowman and Brock Lesnar.
We have some news to pass your way about another big match that is expected at the ‘WWE Crown Jewel’ event.
In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscribe here), Dave Meltzer says that his sources have confirmed that Shawn Michaels will be coming out of retirement for the show in Saudi Arabia.
That match will be Shawn Michaels and Triple H vs The Undertaker and Kane.
Meltzer says that the match between Triple H and the Undertaker at WWE Super Show-Down will start-up an angle, which will lead to the tag team match. It was confirmed that Michaels and Kane will both be at ringside for the match in Australia.
Meltzer speculates that the money offer was too much to turn down for the Heartbreak Kid, even though he has been adamant about staying retired over the years.
Are you down for this tag team match in Saudi Arabia? How do you feel about Shawn potentially coming out of retirement? Let me know in the comment section below.
