Today’s article features the latest on WWE potentially reconsidering a big Wrestlemania 35 match. Also, the latest on a couple of NXT Superstars who are being fast-tracked by WWE. Make sure to take rumors with a grain of salt as always.
WWE Possibly Reconsidering Wrestlemania 35 Match
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Charlotte Flair vs Ronda Rousey is not set in stone for Wrestlemania 35. It has been discussed but it isn’t a lock like some fans are thinking. Here is a quote (via Ringside News)
“Which you know again, it has certainly been talked about. The last I heard is it is not so official for WrestleMania as people think. But it was absolutely something talked about.”
Two NXT Superstars Getting Fast-Tracked By WWE
Meltzer also says that two Superstars are being fast-tracked in WWE developmental. That would be Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir, who are both are members of Ronda Rousey’s ‘Four Horsewomen’ group of friends. They both have only had a few matches but are already wrestling in some of the main events at NXT live events. Here is a quote (via Ringside News):
“They’re really fast-tracking them, Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir partially because of the Shayna Baszler/ Ronda Rousey connection.”
“I think [it’s for a match in WWE] but only against the women 4 Horsewomen but how could you? Because it makes on sense for Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch to be teaming now at all. It makes no sense. I mean you could have Sasha Banks, Charlotte, Bayley, and a 4th babyface against [them].”
Maybe WWE is saving the Four Horsewomen battle for Wrestlemania 35? Or maybe it will happen at Survivor Series in 2019 (when Charlotte and Becky are friends again). We will have to wait and see.
