Big Cass was recently a guest on Booker T’s ‘Heated Conversations’ podcast. This was his first interview since being released from WWE back in June. During the interview, Cass opened up about being released by WWE and what caused it [read his full comments here].
Cass was also asked during the interview if he would ever consider a reunion with his former tag team partner, Enzo Amore.
Here is what Cass had to say (h/t to Fightful):
“No. That’s… look, what me and him had was very special. It was special in NXT, it was special in WWE. I feel like it ran its course, and they pulled the trigger on separating us at the right time–unfortunately I got injured but they pulled the trigger at the right time.
I just… me and him, we don’t keep in contact, we’re not friends so, I just don’t think that that’s going to be a possibility. I mean… let me tell you something Booker: if the money is right, I’ll definitely do it. But at this point in time, I have not been [given] any offers from anybody so I don’t know. They say ‘never say never’ so I don’t know. Maybe one day, me and him will be reunited and me and him will be great friends again and we’ll just take the world by storm but right now I would say I don’t think there’s a chance.”
Would you be down for an Enzo and Big Cass reunion one day?
Speaking of Enzo, he recently revealed what happened on the day that he was released by WWE. You can read his comments here.
