This week’s episode of Smackdown Live takes place in Detroit, Michigan. Below are some of our predictions for what we think could happen on the episode.
5) Asuka Will Come To The Aid Of Naomi
I think that it is pretty clear that we are heading towards a match at Hell in a Cell between the IIconics and Naomi. The only question that I have is, who will end up being the tag team partner of Naomi for this match?
My guess is that Naomi finds herself a partner this week. My money is on Asuka, as she has nothing to do at the moment. I am going to predict that Asuka makes the save after the IIconics attack Naomi this week. Next week, Naomi and Asuka vs the IIconics will get officially announced for Hell in a Cell.
4) Becky Lynch vs Charlotte Flair Will Get Officially Confirmed For Hell in a Cell
My guess is that Paige will make the Smackdown Women’s Championship match official for Hell in a Cell. It will be announced that Charlotte Flair will be defending her belt against Becky Lynch at the event.
This could also be inside Hell in a Cell! This was teased on Twitter.
3) A Big Brawl Will Happen Between Samoa Joe and AJ Styles
Last week, it was teased that Samoa Joe could be visiting the home of AJ Styles. This comes after weeks of trolling Styles about his wife and kids. WWE’s official preview is teasing that Joe actually might make a house call this week on Smackdown.
My guess is that we see a major brawl between Joe and Styles this week. That could be at the Styles home, inside of the ring or in the backstage area. Regardless, I think that Styles will lose his cool and we will see him go after Joe. I am expecting a big brawl between them.
