With several months to go before the event, I thought that I would take a stab at predicting who will be the Champions heading into Wrestlemania 35 weekend. I have included every active Championship in WWE, including NXT and NXT UK. A reminder that this is only my opinion on what will happen based on current storylines and rumors.
15) Travis Banks
– WWE United Kingdom Champion
Pete Dunne has held the WWE UK Championship for over 500 days. It has been an impressive reign for Dunne but it has to end at some point, right?
I am going to take an early guess and say that Travis Banks takes the WWE UK Championship off Dunne over the next several months. Banks will be walking into Wrestlemania 35 weekend as Champion.
14) Rhea Ripley
– NXT UK Women’s Champion
The two strongest names in the NXT UK Women’s division are Rhea Ripley and Toni Storm. I don’t think that you will find anyone arguing with me about that. My guess is that Ripley vs Storm will be the top program in the Women’s division on that brand for the next several months.
Still, I don’t think Storm is going to win the Title until after Wrestlemania 35 weekend.
13) Ricochet
– NXT North American Champion
Ricochet is the current NXT North American Champion. He has impressed so far in his short time with NXT. I am looking forward to watching more of his matches over the next few months.
I don’t think WWE is going to rush Ricochet into the NXT Championship picture anytime soon. As a result, I see him holding onto the NXT North American Championship for a lengthy amount of time.
