This week’s episode of Smackdown Live featured fallout from Summerslam. The show saw the New Day defeat the Bludgeon Brothers in the main event to become the new Smackdown Tag Team Champions. The show also featured build towards the Hell in a Cell PPV event next month.
Fans in attendance got to see a couple of top stars team up after Smackdown and 205 Live went off the air.
The dark match was supposed to be Samoa Joe vs Daniel Bryan. The match ended by disqualification after the Miz interfered. AJ Styles made the save, leading to all four men brawling for a few minutes. Bryan and Styles ended up on top to send the crowd home happy. Here are some photos:
