During the match between Velveteen Dream and EC3 at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn 4, there was a bit of a strange moment. The crowd stopped focusing on the match and started to chant for something that was going on in the crowd.
I immediately thought that this had to be a beach ball like we have seen happen during WWE shows in the past. It turns out that it actually wasn’t a beach ball that distracted the crowd.
According to fans in attendance, the big screen turned off during the match between Dream and EC3. The crowd started chanting “Turn the screen on” so the higher-up fans could see. The problem was quickly fixed and the crowd popped big when the screen was turned back on:
For those of you watching at the home, we’re chanting “Turn the Screen On” because the titantron wasn’t on 😂 #NXTTakeOver pic.twitter.com/PZzeTsuG18

Lmao we just had to chant “turn the screen on” cause people in the nosebleeds couldn’t see the match. Teamwork 💪🏾 #NXTTakeOver

Looks like Takeover avoided any beach balls.
On a related note, Triple H hinted that the main event finish had to be changed. You can read more about that here.
