This weeks episode of Monday Night RAW takes place in Greensboro, North Carolina. This will be the go-home show for the Summerslam PPV, which takes place on Sunday night.
Below is the updated lineup for RAW tonight:
– There will be a contract signing segment involving Dolph Ziggler and Seth Rollins. This will be for their Intercontinental Championship match at Summerslam.
– Confirmed for the episode is a triple threat match for the RAW Tag Team Championships. The B Team will defend their Titles against the Deleters of Worlds and the Revival.
– Renee Young will also be on commentary for the episode this week. She will be replacing Jonathan Coachman.
– There was originally supposed to be a match between Alexa Bliss and Natalya. This has been dropped from the episode after the sad news of the passing of Natalya’s dad, Jim Neidhart. WWE has replaced the match between Natalya and Alexa with the following preview on their website:
“Despite her interference in last week’s main event, Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss watched in horror as Ronda Rousey — competing for the very first time on Raw — made Alicia Fox tap ferociously to her excruciating Armbar, sending a painful message to The Goddess before their title match at SummerSlam.
Afterward, Bliss told WWE.com that she’s not afraid of Rousey, reiterating that when The Baddest Woman on the Planet gets in the ring with her at SummerSlam, the world will see her as “nothing but an overhyped rookie.” Will Little Miss Bliss come to regret those words?”
