Here are 15 things that we learned from Smackdown Live.
1) Randy Orton Cut A Good Promo (And I Am So Happy That WWE Turned Him Heel)
Smackdown Live this week kicked off with a promo from Randy Orton. He spoke about his attacks on Jeff Hardy over the past few weeks and how he is going to get so violent that you are going to have to change the channel when he comes on.
This turned out to be a pretty solid promo from Orton. I am really happy that WWE decided to turn him heel as he needed this.
This heel Orton promo though 🔥🔥🔥🔥 #SDLive

It’s been a while since I genuinely felt excited to see Orton again. He should NEVER return to being a babyface.#SDLive

2) Becky Lynch Threw A Little Bit Of Shade At Sasha and Bayley
Smackdown Live saw a backstage segment between Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch. Becky spoke about Charlotte being added to her Summerslam match and how the hill she has to climb just got a bit more difficult.
Becky ended up throwing a little jab at Sasha Banks and Bayley when asked by Charlotte if they can work together in their match. Becky said “At least we are not Sasha and Bayley”
“So we’re good for this tag match then?” – @MsCharlotteWWE
“Of course, we’re not @SashaBanksWWE & @itsBayleyWWE!” – @BeckyLynchWWE

3) The IIconics Got “Boring” Chants From The Crowd
Smackdown featured a tag team match: Charlotte Flair & Becky Lynch vs. The IIconics. Before the match, Billie Kay and Peyton Royce cut a promo with some digs on Becky and Charlotte.
The crowd chanted “boring” during the promo.
Damn boring chants for the #IIConics A lot has certainly changed since early April #SmackdownLive
