The Bar and the New Day will face off next week on Smackdown Live. This will be the finals of the tournament to decide the next challengers for the Smackdown Tag Team Championships. The winners will face the Bludgeon Brothers at Summerslam.
So who is going to win? Let’s speculate a little bit.
I think that most fans would be happy with either team winning this match. Both the New Day and the Bar are two well-liked teams and would make for solid challengers. I think the edge goes to Sheamus and Cesaro though since they vs the Bludgeon Brothers would be a fresh match-up. The Bar also hasn’t been used for a few months and it seems like their turn for a decent feud.
I also think that the New Day will be attacked by SANITY during the match, which will end up costing them. This will allow the BAR to advance but it will also set us up for another potential match between SANITY and the New Day. I could see WWE maybe doing that match on the kickoff show for Summerslam.
Regardless, I think Sheamus and Cesaro will be getting the win over the New Day.
