8 WWE Superstars Who Could Be Paul Heyman’s Next Client

On the July 30th edition of Monday Night RAW, it looked as if Paul Heyman will no longer be the advocate for Brock Lesnar. This makes sense based on the rumors of Brock leaving for the UFC after Summerslam. We decided to take a look at some potential candidates on who could be the next Paul Heyman guy, or girl.

8) Lars Sullivan/ Aleister Black

If Heyman is getting a new client, it could be a smart idea to pair him with a talent from NXT. This would be a great way to debut a new talent on the main roster and could really help their career moving forward.

Two candidates that immediately came to mind were Lars Sullivan and Aleister Black. Lars would make sense as Heyman’s next monster, who he could do the talking for. I don’t really know why Aleister Black came to mind but I think a pairing with him and Heyman could be fun.

Regardless, I think a new talent coming up from NXT could be a smart decision by WWE.

7) Shinsuke Nakamura

If I were to create this list prior to Nakamura’s heel turn a few months ago, he would likely be much higher. I have enjoyed heel Nakamura so far and I think it has been a great fit for his character.

While saying that, I still think there would be money in a Paul Heyman-Shinsuke Nakamura pairing. Heyman does all the talking and Nakamura backs it up inside of the ring. I think that could be an interesting dynamic.

I am not sure it will happen but it remains an option in my mind.

6) The Authors of Pain

I don’t think that many will argue that the Authors of Pain haven’t been booked the greatest since being called up to the WWE main roster. They were extremely dominant while in NXT but they now seem like just another tag team on RAW.

They dropped Paul Ellering as their manager after they were called up. To me, I thought it was a mistake as I loved their dynamic with Ellering and I don’t think that they are great on the mic.

This is where Paul Heyman could step in as their new manager. It would be fun to see Heyman manage a dominant tag team and it would be something a bit different for him. WWE could use Heyman to help build up the tag team division on RAW.

  1. I don’t think it should be Ronda. Too much like Brock. I would love for it to be Asuka especially if she is more NXT cocky, dangerous, and serious heel Asuka with the occasional Japanese outbursts. I don’t think Roman should be the next Heyman guy. He should just be a heel. Imagine him after winning the title at SS coming to a loud booing crowd (you know it’s going to be like Raw after Mania) and he just tells the crowd f#$k you and speaks from the heart about the years of hatred towards him and putting the universe in their place. Drops the mic and walks away.
