Today’s article features the latest on a potential intergender match at Extreme Rules. Also, why Sheamus and Cesaro have been off Smackdown recently. Take all rumors with a grain of salt as always.
Why The Bar Has Been Off WWE TV
According to Dave Meltzer on Twitter, the reason that Sheamus and Cesaro haven’t been on TV recently is that WWE creative has had nothing for them. They are not injured and have been working live events regularly.

Intergender Match At Extreme Rules?
On the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez discussed a rumor floating around about a potential intergender match at Extreme Rules. This would be James Ellsworth and Carmella vs Asuka. Here is a quote (via Ringside News):
“It’s not official yet but that’s certainly the rumor […] We’ve seen mixed tags, we had one at WrestleMania. We just can’t have the men beat up the women. The women can beat up the men. So basically you have to do a match where Asuka beats up James Ellsworth but he doesn’t lay a hand on her and Asuka and Carmella beat each other up and then somehow you do a finish.”
