Becky Lynch Explains The Idea That She Pitched To WWE About Women’s Tag Team Titles

Becky Lynch and Shinsuke Nakamura recently answered some fan questions during the Ace Comic-Con event. Becky was asked about WWE potentially bringing back Tag Team Titles for the Women’s division.

Specifically, Becky was asked if she would have one set of Titles on RAW and another set on Smackdown. This would be similar to what WWE does right now for the men.

Becky ended up sharing what she has pitched to WWE. Here is what she said:

“Numbers-wise, I don’t think we have enough to have one [set of titles] on each brand. So, what I think would be pretty cool is if they were traveling, not just between RAW and Smackdown, but NXT too. You’d have a huge range of women that you could go against, and have so many possibilities. I think that would get people excited to watch any of the brands because you wouldn’t know when people would be showing up on [those shows] because they’d all be traveling.

I’ve been pitching it for a year, maybe two”

On a related note, here are 9 tag teams that would work right now if WWE pulled the trigger on Women’s Tag Team Titles.
