1) Big Cass Was Mentioned In The Opening Segment
Smackdown Live this week kicked off with Paige hyping up Extreme Rules next month. It was a bit odd that Paige mentioned Big Cass during her opening monologue, saying that he lost to Daniel Bryan at Money in the Bank.
For those who missed it, Cass was released from WWE on Tuesday. Not a huge deal but a bit strange for his name to come up.

2) James Ellsworth Is Officially Back In WWE And Serving Carmella
Carmella kicked off Smackdown Live this week to gloat about her win at Money in the Bank. James Ellsworth cosplayed as Asuka again before revealing his face. Ellsworth got on the mic and announced that he is officially back in WWE. He is also back to serving Carmella.
I can’t lie, I am a fan of Ellsworth and happy to see him back. Looks like his return wasn’t a short-term thing.

3) Ellsworth Returning Is A Positive For Carmella
I am a fan of Carmella but I am happy that WWE has paired her back up with James Ellsworth. He adds a fun dynamic (being a male manager for a female talent) and I enjoy their chemistry with one another.
I think this will be a positive for Carmella and I am excited to see how it plays out.
While Carmella’s been able to hold her own, Ellsworth just adds something to her when he is there. Loved the set up from Sunday and happy to see him being back was not just for Money in the Bank. This feud between Carmella and Asuka isn’t over and that’s not a bad thing. #SDLive
