According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, the match between Ronda Rousey and Nia Jax was originally scheduled to be the main event of Money in the Bank. Over the weekend, WWE made the change to close the show with the Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match instead.

Johnson also reports that there had been talk among WWE about bringing James Ellsworth back for the Greatest Royal Rumble event in Saudi Arabia. Johnson says that at one point, there was a pitch to have him participate in the Rumble match.
