Speculation On The Universal Title Plans At Summerslam

The latest rumor floating around is that Brock Lesnar’s next match won’t be until Summerslam. There have been a few names floating around as potential opponents, including current Intercontinental Champion, Seth Rollins.

We have the latest speculation to pass your way about Brock’s next match.

Dave Meltzer speculated on Wrestling Observer Radio that based on the commentary from RAW, it seems clear that it will be Roman Reigns vs Brock Lesnar for the Title. Here is a quote (via Ringside News):

“By the way, I should mention in the commentary during the tag match they made it very clear that Roman Reigns is the guy who’s going to be wrestling Lesnar. I mean it was on and on and on about how he got cheated at the Greatest Royal Rumble, how he’s going for the championship, so it doesn’t look like it’s Strowman. I mean they could change their mind but they were pretty strong on commentary on you know that’s the big program.”

This is only speculation but seems like it’s right. I think many would be surprised if Roman isn’t involved based on how their match at the Greatest Royal Rumble ended.

Speaking of Summerslam, here are 12 early predictions for the event.

How would you feel about Reigns vs Brock for the Title at Summerslam?
