There will be eight participants this year in the Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match. Braun Strowman and Finn Balor both won their qualifying matches this week on RAW to earn their places in the match. The Miz and Rusev won their qualifying matches this week on Smackdown Live to earn their spots.
Let’s speculate on who else will be joining Strowman, Finn, the Miz and Rusev in the match.
Starting with Smackdown, WWE has announced a qualifying match for next week. The Bar will face the New Day with the winning team getting to put a team member in the match. I think it makes total sense for the New Day to win here and pick Kofi Kingston to participate.
For my last Smackdown pick, I think that Samoa Joe should be a lock for the match. With him not being involved in the WWE Title picture at the moment, it frees him up for this match. I think it makes perfect sense.
As for RAW, I think that we will see Bobby Lashley end up in the match. I think WWE is going to be pushing Bobby and will want him in this match.
I initially had Seth Rollins in this match but I have changed my mind. I think that Seth is going to end up defending his Intercontinental Championship at the event instead. As a result, I am going to guess that Elias finds a way into the match. No real reason other than I think WWE thinks highly of him and it would be good for him
That would leave me with Braun Strowman vs Finn Balor vs the Miz vs Rusev vs Samoa Joe vs Kofi Kingston vs Bobby Lashley vs Elias.
How does that sound to you?
