WWE Backlash 2018 Results – 18 Things That We Learned

1) The Miztourage Has Officially Disbanded

There was a Miztourage reunion backstage at Backlash, just not the one that the Miz likely hoped for. Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel officially split from the Miz, saying that they won’t be supporting characters anymore.

Excited to see what the future has in store for Bo and Curtis:

2) The Riott Squad Continues To Build Momentum

The kickoff show for Backlash featured a match between Bayley and Ruby Riott. The match was eventually won by Ruby after she hit the ‘Riott Kick’.

A big win for Ruby and the Riott Squad. Have to wonder if we will see this crew move over to the RAW Women’s Title picture.

3) Seth Rollins Has Been On FIRE Lately

The first match of the main card was for the Intercontinental Championship. Seth Rollins defended his Title against the Miz. Seth put on another great performance, something that has become the norm for him.

It seems like week after week he is putting on awesome matches. He is on an incredible run and is easily one of the best guys in the company.

4) Seth Rollins Retained After One Heck Of A Match

The Intercontinental Title match was eventually won by Seth Rollins after he hit the Stomp. This was a really fun match from bell-to-bell. The crowd was into it and the performers delivered.

Really great stuff. Hats off to the Miz as well. He really did his part and did it well.

5) Nia Jax Retained The RAW Women’s Championship, Cut A Promo About Anti-Bullying

Nia Jax defended her RAW Women’s Championship at Backlash against Alexa Bliss. Nia ended up hitting a Samoan Drop for the victory. Looks like her feud with Alexa is over.

After the match, Nia cut a promo about being different and overcoming bullying.
