Dean Ambrose has been officially pulled from the AXXESS signing on Wrestlemania Sunday. Fans who bought a VIP ticket to see Ambrose will instead be able to meet Sting and Ric Flair.
This was confirmed by WWE on their website. Here was their statement:
“Unfortunately, Dean Ambrose will not be able to appear at the WrestleMania Axxess Premium VIP Autograph Session on Sunday, April 8, at 10 a.m. However, we are pleased to inform the WWE Universe that WWE Hall of Famers Sting and Ric Flair will appear at this Premium VIP Autograph Session. Your existing Dean Ambrose Premium VIP ticket will still grant you access to the Premium VIP Autograph Session on Sunday, April 8, at 10 a.m. with Sting and Flair”
This has a lot of people speculating on the potential reason why he has been pulled. Could it be for a Wrestlemania return? Ambrose was recently in Birmingham, Alabama to get evaluated by WWE doctors. Mike Johnson of PWInsider says that no sources would confirm it but it isn’t out of the question that something came up during the evaluation that could have led to the cancellation. Ambrose canceled a few other appearances as well.
April will make it four months since Ambrose went under the knife after tearing his triceps. WWE originally announced that he could be out for up to 9 months, which seemed like an exaggerated number.

We will have to wait and see if he shows up at Wrestlemania! Obviously, take with a grain of salt until there is more information.
