You have likely heard the news already about the planned Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns segment getting scrapped from this weeks episode of Monday Night RAW.
It turns out that there was another segment reportedly scrapped from the show.
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio (subscribe here), Asuka was originally going to make her Wrestlemania 34 match announcement on the show.
Here is a quote from Meltzer (h/t to Ringside News):
“…there was scheduled also to be Asuka making her announcement about WrestleMania, which did not happen on this show. That was another thing that got changed”
It is unclear exactly what that means moving forward. There have been rumors circulating over the past several weeks that Asuka could challenge Charlotte Flair for her Title instead of Alexa.
Maybe WWE is waiting until after Fastlane for Asuka to make her choice? We will have to wait and see.
