The big story coming out of Monday Night RAW this week had to do with Brock Lesnar’s absence. Brock was previously advertised to appear on the show to go face-to-face with Roman Reigns. Instead, Reigns cut a promo about Lesnar hiding behind his contract. Fans were left wondering if it was real or a part of the storyline.
We have some rumors to share on the Brock Lesnar situation. The @Wrestlevotes account (which is credited with breaking the Neville walk-out story), says that RAW had to be re-written late in the day:
A solid Raw, although a bit confusing. Seems like Angle may be Rousey’s partner, a 3 way for the IC title might go down and the tag titles are at a standstill. However, some of the show was rewritten very late today. Working on gathering more details for tomorrow.

They also say it looks like Brock no-showed, which caught some people backstage off guard:
As hyped during the Chamber PPV & on social media all day yesterday, Brock Lesnar was scheduled to appear on Raw. He was written into the show for a segment with Reigns. While the details are still coming out, it does seem like for whatever reason, Brock no showed last night.

While it’s possible the Brock thing is a work, it did catch multiple people backstage off guard as to where he was. So, if they went to those great lengths to work everyone just so Roman could cut that shoot style promo, nice job WWE. However, that’s not likely the case here.

Also, Brock took a photo with UFC President Dana White on Sunday which generated a lot of buzz.
Reminder to always take rumors with a grain of salt. Certainly interesting though.
