WWE Rumors: Plans For AJ Styles After Wrestlemania

There has been some buzz going around the WWE rumor mill about the potential plans for AJ Styles after Wrestlemania 34. We know that barring a swerve, Styles will likely be facing Shinsuke Nakamura at Wrestlemania. What about after the event?

Here is the latest on AJ Styles and him potentially switching brands with another top WWE star.

A rumor has been making the rounds that Styles could be jumping to RAW after Wrestlemania 34. This would provide him with many fresh matchups moving forward.

This would obviously leave a major hole on Smackdown Live. Dave Meltzer speculated in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter that if Styles did jump to RAW, Seth Rollins could go the other way to Smackdown in return. This would be in order to fill the gap that Styles would be leaving.

Nothing is confirmed here or anything but this swap would make sense. If Styles is leaving Smackdown, you would need a major name coming back the other way to help boost the show. Rollins vs Nakamura would be a program that could be a lot of fun to build towards for the WWE Title at one of the bigger events.

As for Styles, there are a lot of great matches waiting for him on RAW if he does move. WWE could revisit the Styles vs Roman Reigns feud for the Universal Title. You could do Styles and Finn Balor feuding over leadership of Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. You could also do an AJ Styles and Braun Strowman program. Plenty of options if WWE did pull the trigger.

We will have to wait and see what happens! The only thing I would have against this swap is that we wouldn’t be able to see Seth vs AJ, a match that I really want to see happen.

Discussion: Do you think that Styles should stay on Smackdown Live or move to RAW?
