25 Things That We Learned From RAW 25

1) The Manhattan Center Looked Absolutely Incredible

RAW was live from two arenas: The Barclays Center and the Manhattan Center. The Manhattan Center was set up just like the very first episode of RAW back in 1993. It was a ton of nostalgia and the WWE did an amazing job with the set design.

Here are some photos:

2) It Was Good To See JR And The King Back Together!

RAW this week featured one of our favorite commentary duos back together. Jim Ross and Jerry ‘the King’ Lawler were on commentary at the Manhattan Center.

This likely brought back a lot of great memories from fans. It was great to see them back together and calling the action.

3) Some Awesome Easter Eggs From The Manhattan Center

RAW this week began at the Manhattan Center. There were a ton of fun easter eggs from the Manhattan Center. That includes the ICOPRO sign, which older WWE fans will remember.

Also, the siren that used to play in the background for the opening of RAW. Incredible attention to detail.

4) The Intro For RAW 25 Was Incredible.

The 25th Anniversary of Monday Night RAW show had a lot of anticipation coming in. The show got off to an incredible start with an amazing video tribute featuring some of the best moments of the past 25 years.

This included some surprising inclusions like CM Punk’s ‘pipe bomb’. A great way to start the show and a rush of nostalgia for older fans.

5) Thank You, Vince McMahon!

The 25th Anniversary of Monday Night RAW show kicked off with Shane and Stephanie McMahon. After airing the video package they introduced their father: Vince McMahon, the man responsible for Monday Night RAW and WWE!

The crowd gave him an awesome “Thank You Vince” chant. As a fan for the past 25 years, I genuinely mean thank you Vince.
