Dolph Ziggler was ‘celebrating’ his WWE United States Championship win on Smackdown Live this week. In a strange turn of events, Ziggler left the title in the middle of the ring before walking out. Certainly an unexpected development after winning the title a few days ago.
Let’s speculate on Dolph Ziggler’s future after Smackdown Live. Here are some potential scenarios.
Scenario 1) Dolph Ziggler is trolling and will be bringing back a re-designed version of the U.S Title. The belt design hasn’t been updated in many years and it might make sense to give the title a makeover.
Scenario 2) Dolph is trolling. He returns next week with his title like nothing happened. He proceeds to complain about fans not appreciating him until he is gone.
Scenario 3) This was WWE’s way to write off Dolph from television. Certainly, a unique way for him to leave if that is the case. The U.S Title is vacated in this scenario.
Scenario 4) Ziggler goes back to NXT. Triple H recently teased that WWE stars could potentially move down to NXT. Maybe Ziggler will head back to rebrand himself? The U.S Title is vacated in this scenario.
