You likely remember the Bludgeon Brothers defeating two jobbers on Smackdown Live this week. The match was the usual squash from Harper & Rowan, keeping them looking strong heading into Clash of Champions.
You might have recognized one of the jobbers from his time in WWE almost a decade ago.
Colin Delaney was one of the two jobbers on Smackdown Live this week. He spent some time in WWE’s incarnation of ECW from 2007 until 2008. He is best known for teaming with Tommy Dreamer during this time and later turning on him. Delaney was released by WWE in 2008 due to budget cuts.
WWE interviewed Colin after the loss to the Bludgeon Brothers, where he reflected on his return:
EXCLUSIVE: How did it feel for @ExtremelyCute to be back inside a @WWE ring for the first time in nearly a decade on #SDLive?! Besides painful, of course… pic.twitter.com/Hwd9CpzGax
