Sasha Banks and Alexa Bliss made history on Thursday. Both ladies wrestled at WWE’s live event in Abu Dhabi, which was the first Women’s match in the history of the United Arab Emirates.
Abu Dhabi has strict rules about what Women can wear in public. In the past, the Women of WWE were not brought along to the live events in the country.
Sasha was interviewed backstage after the match and broke down. She spoke about wanting to empower women around the world and prove that they can do anything. Sasha was also very emotional talking about the “this is hope” chants from the fans.
