Chris Jericho made headlines a few weeks ago when it was announced that he will be wrestling Kenny Omega at Wrestle Kingdom in January. This news caught a lot of fans off guard because Jericho hasn’t wrestled outside of WWE in a very long time.
There was a rumor floating around that Jericho could return as soon as the 25th Anniversary of RAW on January 22nd. While that remains a possibility, we can likely remove him from two major WWE events in 2018.
Jericho’s band Fozzy is currently scheduled to play a show on January 28th in Paris, France. That is the same night as the Royal Rumble so it looks like he won’t be making a surprise return on that night.
Also, Fozzy has a show on April 8th in New Hampshire. This happens to be the same day as Wrestlemania 34:

Jericho loves to surprise fans so we will have to wait and see what happens. As of right now though, it looks like he won’t be involved in the Rumble or Wrestlemania this year.
