The biggest story of the Tables, Ladders and Chairs Pay-Per-View (outside of all the illnesses) is about Kurt Angle’s return to the ring. Kurt’s last match in WWE was over 11 years ago. It was a question if WWE would allow Angle to return to the ring because of his injury history.
Now that Angle is cleared to wrestle, we can look at his future after TLC.
Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet tweeted after all of the news broke this week that he is hearing Angle could also wrestle at one of the big 4 Pay-Per-View events (Survivor Series, Royal Rumble, Wrestlemania or Summerslam):
What a wild day.
The Shield reunion being pushed back obviously changes future plans and I’m hearing Kurt Angle being cleared means it’s very possible he wrestles at one of the big 4 events now. pic.twitter.com/LReltRDBLY

Kurt’s return to the ring at TLC is a big deal but there is no doubt (in my mind at least) that his first singles match back will be just as big. Now that he is cleared, the possibilities seem endless. A match alongside or against his kayfabe son Jason Jordan seems to be the most likely option. We will have to wait and see. It does appear though that we will be seeing more matches from Angle after TLC.
