Jinder Mahal vs Shinsuke Nakamura At Hell In A Cell

The Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View will feature a WWE Championship match between Jinder Mahal and Shinsuke Nakamura. This will be a rematch from Summerslam, where the Singh Brothers interfered in the match to help Jinder retain.

Here are the latest rumors and speculation on the match at Hell in a Cell and what could end up happening.

WWE officially announced live events in India. They will happen in December at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium. These will be RAW events but Jinder Mahal is advertised to appear.

Dave Meltzer on a recent edition of Wrestling Observer Radio (subscribe here), speculates that Jinder Mahal will likely win the match at Hell in a Cell. He says that it wouldn’t make much sense to build up Jinder’s title reign over the past several months to have him lose it before the India shows. If they give it up now, Meltzer says that it would be a waste of his title reign and their push for India.

Since it is not happening inside of a Hell in a Cell, the Singh Brothers could play a factor in Jinder keeping his belt (again).

Also to add to that, if Jinder retains at Hell in a Cell, he might not have to defend his WWE Title at Survivor Series. This could be because he would be a part of an elimination match instead at the event. That means Nakamura could be his last title defense until after the India shows. Something to keep in mind.

Early speculation seems to be Jinder retaining at Hell in a Cell. This isn’t set in stone but looks to be the way they could be going.

  1. It gonna be the repeat of HHH vs Booker T back to Wrestlemania 19 if Nakamura don’t win the title after he suffered a few racist promo from Jinder, and the efforts from Cena and Orton put over Nakamura clean will end up a complete waste.
