WWE Is Potentially Bringing Back Some Old WCW Concepts For Future Events

One of the biggest requests from WWE fans in terms of Pay-Per-View events is for the company to bring back some of the concepts from the past. This doesn’t just include old WWE concepts, it also includes Pay-Per-View themes from WCW (which the company owns all of the rights to).

We have seen WWE use a few of the old WCW concepts over the years, like the Great American Bash and Clash of Champions. According to a new report, we could be seeing some more.

According to a report from Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet, WWE is close to potentially labeling some live events/ specials using WCW branding. This reportedly could happen in the “very near future”.

This would mean that we could be seeing WWE bring back some of the old WCW Pay-Per-View names and concepts that a lot of wrestling fans grew up with.

Satin says that there isn’t any word on what the names will be, but based on the time of year: Fall Brawl: War Games, Halloween Havoc, World War 3 or Starrcade would all make sense.
