John Cena’s Summerslam Match Set-Up After Smackdown Live Went Off The Air

This week’s episode of Smackdown Live saw Shinsuke Nakamura defeat John Cena. As a result, Nakamura will be challenging Jinder Mahal at Summerslam for the WWE Championship.

So where does this leave Cena after the loss? After Smackdown Live went off the air, it looks like his plans for the event were revealed (on the WWE Network).

Nakamura and Cena were both attacked by Baron Corbin. Cena was able to get the better of Corbin, hitting him with a ‘Attitude Adjustment’ onto the announce table. Looks like Cena vs Corbin will be happening at Summerslam. You can watch what happened after Smackdown Live went off air here:
