Sasha Banks was recently interviewed by Adam Santarossa of news.com.au. ‘The Boss’ was in Australia to promote WWE’s upcoming live events in September. She spoke on a variety of topics, including her goal of main-eventing Wrestlemania one day.
During the interview, Sasha had some big praise for two Australian-born talents that are currently in NXT: Billie Kay and Peyton Royce.
They are known as ‘The Iconic Duo’ in NXT and have been featured on NXT television a lot over the past several months. Sasha thinks that both Women are the future of the WWE Women’s division:
“I think they are the future. They are incredible and have such passion for this business and I love watching them”
Specifically, Banks says Peyton reminds her a lot of herself and is excited for her to get called up from NXT:
“They are amazing and Peyton Royce reminds me a lot of myself. Her favourite wrestler is Eddie Guerrero too and I love watching her. She’s incredible, incredible, incredible in the ring and I can’t wait for her to get called up to the main roster.”
Some high praise from ‘the Boss’. Sasha Banks vs Peyton Royce would be a lot of fun one day.
