‘Great Balls Of Fire’ is officially in the history books. The event left us with more questions than answers, especially when thinking about Brock Lesnar and the WWE Universal Championship plans for Summerslam this year.
We thought that we would put together some of the potential options that WWE have now that ‘Great Balls of Fire’ is over.
– The first option that we think could happen is a triple threat match at Summerslam for the WWE Universal Title. It has been debated for the past few weeks among WWE fans if Reigns or Strowman would be the one to challenge Lesnar at the big event this Summer. What if WWE decided to do Lesnar vs Strowman vs Reigns? It is clear that the feud between Reigns and Strowman isn’t over from the ambulance incident. Unless WWE does another big singles match between Strowman and Reigns, it could make sense to add them into the title picture with Brock.
– Another option would be Strowman vs Lesnar at Summerslam. Strowman defeated Reigns in the ambulance match. It looks like Reigns could maybe be getting suspended for his actions while driving the ambulance. This would free up Braun to go for the title.
– Roman Reigns previously declared himself as the number one contender so that is always an option.
– The next option would be Samoa Joe getting a rematch against Brock Lesnar. Even though Joe lost the match, he still gave Lesnar a fight. WWE might choose to keep this feud going into Summerslam and this match might have been just a tease for fans.
– Finally, it could be someone completely random. Maybe Bray Wyatt or Finn Balor? WWE might go with a fresh face for Brock for the event. This seems as the most unlikely option to happen.
