There are a plethora of big stadiums around the world that have the ability to host Wrestlemania or even Summerslam. It all depends on which city has the most attractive bid in the eyes of WWE. According to a new report, we know where will NOT be hosting one of the big events anytime soon.
Sports Illustrated’s Justin Barrasso was recently a guest on “The Danny Picard Show”. He revealed that the New England Patriots were rejected in their bid to host Wrestlemania at Gillette Stadium:

WWE also apparently rejected the bid of the Red Sox to host Summerslam at Fenway Park:

Sorry wrestling fans from the New England Area, it looks like you aren’t getting one of the big events anytime soon. NXT Takeover at Fenway could be a lot of fun though.
