The Original Plans For The Ball Family Segment That Were Cut Short

The Ball Family’s appearance on Monday Night RAW was interesting to say the least. We saw LaVar Ball take his shirt off. We also saw the 15-year-old LaMelo Ball drop a couple of N-words during the live broadcast that made air.

As noted prior, Vince McMahon was NOT a happy camper backstage after the segment.

There are some rumors circulating that the segment was actually cut short. The original plan would have seen the Ball Family stay at ringside for the 6-man tag team match between The Miz, Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas vs Dean Ambrose, Heath Slater and Rhyno.

Also, it seems like Dean Ambrose came to interrupt the segment much earlier than originally expected. This is why the segment came to such an abrupt stop out of nowhere. This was a result of Vince McMahon and Kevin Dunn being upset with what was going on. They sent Ambrose out to speed things along.

Take rumors with a grain of salt. This makes sense though considering special guests in situations like this usually stick around for the match. The segment certainly went off the rails and seemed obvious that Ambrose came out as damage control.

Certainly an interesting segment. Have to imagine the Ball Family won’t be back on RAW anytime soon.
