On the heels of a very good week of television wrestling shows we now have one of the most anticipated non Wrestlemania Raw’s in quite some time. Brock Lesnar, Lavar Ball and Lonzo Ball are all confirmed for the show. Steve Austin is rumored for the show and I must say if Austin shows up during the Miz TV with Lonzo, Lavar and Miz and he and Ambrose lay them all out and drink beer that would be fantastic.
Thanks everyone for entering the Great Balls of Fire giveaway contest however we still need more entries. Also if you haven’t already checkout my Re-Writing the book series as I’ve gotten lots of great messages in regards to it and please send me requests. Now let’s see if this week’s raw can live up to the show they gave us last week.
- We open tonight’s show with The Big Dog. The yard owner. The leader of the empire. The man who brings the ghost out of every crowd. Roman Reigns!
- Audible “We want Strowman” chants while Roman is in full smug look mode.
- Roman with a pretty good promo until we are interrupted by Scott Steiner…. Nope… nope… Its Braun I wonder if this entrance will stick right? Ambulance in reverse and he burst out screaming BRAUN!
- My goodness! Strowman just attempted to throw Roman through the ambulance. Great start to Raw with building this feud with intensity while using an ambulance.
- I can already tell you two things… This will be a really good Raw and this rating will be very similar to last week’s.
- Hey look the Hardys are following the opening segment of Raw, I think tis in their contract.
- I’m not a fan of them restarting this Money in the Bank match for the women as I felt the original ending was perfect HOWEVER it will be very good and help SDL carry a good rating.
- People love to boo and hate Roman but that guy sells and takes hard bumps FOR EVERYBODY! I’m not giving up on Roman yet.
- Sheamus and Cesaro are joining Elias Sampson right now for his weekly free concert this is awesome.
- Before they can get a word out the Hardys music hits out to a nice pop and they get even louder when Jeff and Matt hit the stage.
- That fog machine is out of control tonight however as I say week after week Finn Balor commands attention when he steps on stage. He’s a STAR.
- Hey it’s the dude from Transformers at the announce table and he sounds legitimately impressed with how Raw is run.
- “OOO” he took a shot to the face. Great announcing by this dude as he doesn’t really care to put over Sheamus for the WWE studios movie.
- This dude Josh from Transformers feels like he wants to just say SHUT UP I’m trying to watch the match.
- This crowd is on fire tonight and is digging the Hardy Boys.
- Josh: “I’m not sure that was legal” Booker T: “He’s got FIVE SECONDS” as he gazes into his hand holding up five fingers.
- That Finn Balor apron kick is brutal every single time.
- Sidenote: If I looked like Finn Balor I wouldn’t own a T-Shirt.
- Retro Goldust is here to cut a promo and if I’m not mistaken I believe he is supposed to be in the building tonight.
- John Cena returning next week on Smackdown Live. WWE are really gearing up for the summer and making these ratings pop. It’s why I never worry about the ratings they always figure it out.
- Oh my yes he has the old school attire and his own personal cameraman. This is fantastic!
- R-Truth not rapping as he comes to the ring in full intense mode. Goldust decides to give Truth a beat down as the cameraman records the entire attack.
- I really hope they close the show tonight with Samoa Joe and Brock Lesner. Joe sneaks up on Heyman while doing an interview and tells him to relax as he has his hands around his neck.
- What do we have here? A number one contender’s match for the women’s title? Yes please.
- Kurt Angle is backstage with Bayley and a mini rumble tumbler. Bayley picks and it has to be number one right?
- I really hope they don’t go with the full Miz and Maryse breakup angle and they swerve it back with them being a full power couple.
- Oh looky here… The Ball Family on Miz TV entering at 8:58pm just two minutes before the beginning of the NBA awards show.
- Lavar looks extremely excited to be here. The best part of when celebrities come to the WWE is when they are legitimately excited and he is.
- Lavar Ball looks so comfortable with a microphone in his hand in the middle of the ring.
- Lonzo with his first cheap pop in the staples center.
- You think Lavar Ball will join the Titus Brand?
- The Miz and his entourage against Ambrose and Slater/Rhyno in a six man tag match. Seems like we just saw one of these an hour ago.
- You know what this match does thought? Gets Rhyno, Slater, Axel and Dallas TV time they otherwise likely wouldn’t have gotten.
- These six guys are getting some serious TV time this week good for those guys who never get the time.
- Bo Dallas just got a TV win over Rhyno and those four just look good as a faction.
- A tribute video to Enzo and Cass that’s pretty awesome and they will be able to go back to them if they don’t work as singles.
- Enzo out to call out Big Cass and to figure things out. Cass comes out in all black as well in full smug attitude era Test mode.
- These two are cutting some very emotional promos over the last two Raw episodes.
- Well ok I guess they decided they liked that merchandise money more than singles careers.
- Nope. I was wrong… SWERVE! They gave the crowd one last SAWFT before splitting them up nice touch WWE.
- So we have a competitor in the long throw competition. Strowman throwing Reigns or Cass throwing Enzo.
- We come back from commercial break with Big Cass threatening Corey Graves.
- Curt Hawkins asks the WWE universe if they believe he will beat Seth Rollins tonight… as Scott Hall would say survey says one more for the good guys.
- Seth Rollins gets all his stuff in and easily beats Hawkins and Bray Wyatt is on the screen now to paint by numbers another good promo.
- Have you ever seen someone sweat as much as Kurt Angle?
- Paul Heyman is putting this over as a mega fight and its working and doing wonders for Samoa Joe.
- Samoa Joe just tried to choke out Lesner on the ramp until Lesner breaks the set with Joe’s body.
- Samoa Joe just came off looking like one of the biggest badasses in history. Good for Joe and thank you Lesner.
- Cruiserweight time you know what that means. Akira Tozawa being put up in the VIP section thanks to the Titus Brand.
- Neville is out now to destroy another opponent rinse and repeat.
- This Titus Worldwide gimmick is awesome and this title match will be absolutely fantastic.
- Paul Heyman gets us even more amped in regards to the main event of Great Balls of Fire. I know some people want to see him turn however I do not.
- So the ladies will be main eventing and I guess we aren’t getting Austin. This Raw has been great though.
- Boom look who was right about Bayley choosing number one! ☺
- Wow Nia Jax just knocked off Bayley with little issue.
- Nia Jax now makes quick work of Mickie James and Dana Brooke. Emma is up next and I’m pretty sure I don’t like her chances.
- Sasha and Nia Jax are the final two competitors and I wouldn’t be upset with a Sasha Banks and Alexa Bliss feud.
- Nia and Sasha putting on a decent match here for the end of the gauntlet.
- Sasha gets Nia Jax to tap out to the bank statement and we are about to have an awesome Women’s title feud.

Another really great Raw and I would suppose it’ll do close to a three and a half rating. Also I wonder how the NBA feels about one of its newer stars on Raw opposite the new NBA awards show. Smart move by Vince and crew grabbing the most polarizing guy in all of sports at the moment on a night Basketball fans are already planning to watch TV. Remember lookout for my RawView: Tuesday night edition and the Re-Writing the book later this week. Also as I mentioned above go to IWNerd.com and follow the instructions and enter to win some stuff I want to give away. Thanks for the growing support and until next time be awesome.
