Happy Monday Night everyone! Raw is War tonight or maybe it’ll just be a warzone or maybe it’s just RAW. Last night was a very good event and the more I think about it the more I believe they made the right choices across the board.
By the way I did get a few response to their favorite “On A Pole” match. The best response? The Pink slip on a pole match with The Rock and Mankind. If you haven’t seen it go look it up it’s actually pretty good. Thank you @M_Champ4 give him a follow he has some good opinions on the current product.
- My guess is we are going to have a fantastic night of Raw the new Raw’s to watch aren’t the go home show but the Raw after a PPV.
- We open with a tax man’s loosiana son who only speaks in constant riddles and broken promises.
- I will say I am all for a proper Bray Wyatt v Brock Lesner feud and think they could have not only a great match but could tell a great story.
- Here comes the big dog. When he says this is my yard is it in reference to the ring? The arena? The wwe universe? Hmm….
- Oh wow ok… I guess we are starting the night with Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt ok then.
- These two guys have a really good chemistry and always put on one hell of a match.
- Enzo and Cass are backstage doing an interview. You can tell something is off and they are definitely leading us all to believe Big Cass is the attacker.
- You know the WWE should enlist the services of Leslie Neilson and George Kennedy to find the attacker like they did at Summerslam 1994.
- The first unpopular opinion of the night? I’m not a fan of Enzo Amore and I do believe Big Cass could be a serviceable big guy.
- WWE beings to show the entire Raw Women’s title match in stills you know because it was like five minutes long.
- Those welts look PAINFUL on Bayley’s back.
- Kurt Angle is interrupted seeing the latest leaked photos by Alexa Bliss who wants to do a “This Is My Life Segment” FANTASTIC!
- Nia Jax against Alexa Bliss for the title is announced for tonight and I’m all sorts of ok with that. I think Bayley and Sasha should feud WITHOUT THE TITLE GASP.
- In the ring is just a man and his guitar and the crowd isn’t very appreciative of him giving them a free concert.
- Oh look its Dean Ambrose he’s a lunatic but gee golly we all love him.
- Dean Ambrose takes out Elias Sampson and The Miz shows up on the screen announcing his big championship reunion celebration.
- Quite frankly I think Dean Ambrose and The Miz should feud all the way through Summerslam. I’m still all in on this feud and I think if we add Renee Young to it that’s a whole new dimension.
- Samoa Joe vs. Brock Lesner is the main event not only us wrestling fans want but Dana White would pay great money for.
- I love this promo Samoa Joe is giving. He wants to be part-time, he wants Paul Heyman, he wants to beat people up and he wants to be champion. Simple to the point and makes sense.
- Ladies In Gentlemen his name is Paul Heyman and he is here to cut the best promo in the business since his last one.
- Homework of the night what is your favorite Paul Heyman promo? Shoot me a message let me know and I’ll give you a shout out like I did for @M_Champ4.
- Samoa Joe is letting Heyman know that he is going to choke him out because he is disappointed that Brock Lesner didn’t respect him enough to come see him.
- My goodness this is the best version of Samoa Joe and is all we could have asked for during this feud.
- The best part of what we are seeing is Brock rarely ever looks vulnerable and is almost always the more intense in the feud. Samoa Joe is bringing his A game which will raise the bar.
- Now back at Impact Wrestling… Samoa Joe and Kurt Angle… wait a minute….
- Seth Rollins while not as good a baby face as he is heel certainly gets it and can play both very well. I’ll take all the Seth Rollins stock anyone wants to sell me.
- Swissbop and Rocksteady are up next and they don’t raise the bar they are the bar.
- Heath Slater getting a paycheck tonight which is a good thing because I’m not sure if you know this but he has four and a half kids.
- While they are going through the recap of last night we are about an hour and a half into an extremely good Raw. No NBA Finals tonight I wonder what the ratings will look like.
- Is it my TV or is Heath Slater extremely orange from the chest up?
- Very simple match and some people will shit on it but this is exactly what Raw needs more of. Instead of having to see the different variations of Cesaro/Sheamus and The Hardys let the teams get an easy win and then some promo time to build the feud.
- Incoming another unpopular opinion. I would ten out of ten times take Sheamus over Cesaro if I were building a wrestling promotions roster.
- TJ Perkins….err… TJP and Neville you know what that means?
- I love how Neville keeps leading TJP on with promises of a title match. It’s directly out of the book of “How to Be a Really Good Heel”.
- Did Mustafa Ali forget his gear at home and borrow some from Seth Rollins?
- I’m really hoping I heard that wrong and I didn’t hear a CM Punk chant.
- This match was fine I’m not upset by it but man TJP makes a perfect heel I like nothing about that guy.
- 205Live will have Neville defend his title against TJP I know what I’ll be watching tomorrow night…
- Retro Goldust here to cut a promo on R-Truth. Sign me up for a legitimate Goldust singles run and I would put Summer Rae with him to give her something to do and a rub.
- Alexa thinks she’s talking to the SDL women asking them why they aren’t upset with Nia Jax for jumping them in line for a title match.
- Angle comes and gets Graves to continue a very interesting storyline between the two of them.
- Graves obviously becoming an on-screen power broker. If it were me I would have Corey Graves be part manager and also a commentator. First client? Big Cass.
- Kurt Angle leaves to take care of some personal business and Dean Ambrose sneaks back inside the building.
- Kalisto defeats Titus O’Ball by pulling the tights yep that happened.
- The Miz and Maryse coming for their red carpet celebration when he see’s Big Cass knocked out. Enzo runs up and while Big Cass is unable to say anything he is able to hand Enzo a gold chain?
- Enzo is advised to find himself a new partner because Big Cass is too hurt to compete in their match later.
- Oh my there is a bear and Maryse in the ring for The Miz’s IC Championship Reunion Tour. What’s the chances that’s not actually a bear and it’s a lunatic?
- I make no secret about this The Miz is my and has been my favorite wrestler…err… superstar for a decade. This is really awesome for me to watch.
- You deserve it chants for The Miz and what does the Miz do? Goes full heel mode on the crowd. Brilliant.
- The Miz just destroyed the bear because he’s paranoid it’s Dean Ambrose however AHA! Its Red Herring. If he would have just pulled his second mask off though…
- Miz just destroyed a grandfather clock in a box and pissed his wife off before Ambrose does some dirty deeds dirt cheap and swigs some champagne.
- So if you ever need a seven footer just call Enzo because apparently he has unlimited credit at Big Guys R’Us.
- I wonder how Big Cass will feel about Enzo running up more debt at Big Guys R’ Us and giving that guy his saying.
- The Club doing the J-O-B for Big Show and Enzo I will say though that’s not a bad spot for Big Show or for Enzo. Could let Big Cass move on and keep Enzo relevant.
- Well I didn’t have to wait long to see how Big Cass would feel about the Big Show and well lets just say he’s not as happy as Enzo was about it.
- An R Truth promo just happened I wonder if Little Jimmy was the director of the last segment.
- Nia Jax out for the title shot that was promised to her on some random Raw that not many people actually remembering happening.
- I met Dana Brooke at an event in the Cocoa armory years ago and she was super cool.
- Does anyone remember when Chyna shook Marlena like a ragdoll on the outside? What Nia is doing to Alexa is the modern-day version of that.
- HAHAHAHA! Alexa outsmarts all three of them as she gets Mickie James and Dana Brooke to attack her and guess what Nia Jax isn’t so happy about that.
- Brock Lesner will be on Raw next week to unleash the beast on Samoa Joe.
- Listen to the crowd every time Seth Rollin’s music hits and he comes out on stage the place erupts.
- Everything Samoa Joe does looks like it hurts really bad let’s hope for Seth Rollins sake it doesn’t feel as bad as it looks.
- Bray Wyatt distracts Seth Rollins with his video flashing on the screen and Joe grabs him in the coquina clutch and taps him out.
- Sign me up for a Bray Wyatt v Seth Rollins feud. I’m also guessing we get Finn Balor v Roman Reigns at Great Balls Of Fire for the title match at Summerslam.
