For the past few weeks on Monday Night RAW, Enzo Amore has been attacked backstage. It appeared at first glance like the attacker’s were the Revival. Video evidence was found of Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson leaving the arena after Enzo was attacked for the first time.
After Enzo was attacked for a second time, Big Cass immediately blamed them. Kurt Angle said that he saw the Revival leave the building and they couldn’t be the attackers. So who did it?
On the most recent Wrestling Observer Radio (subscribe here), Dave Meltzer speculates that this could lead to a Big Cass heel turn. Based on the past few weeks, WWE wants us to believe that Big Cass was the attacker. Whether this is foreshadowing or misdirection, we will have to wait and see.
Meltzer also says that with the Hardy’s coming in, they have replaced Enzo and Cass as the top babyface tag team on RAW. If they are planning to split Big Cass and Enzo up, this would make more sense now than it would have a few months ago (when a split was first rumored).
One of our readers also noticed what might have been a hint from WWE on RAW this week. Big Cass shook the hand of Corey Graves. This was one week after Corey mentioned that he would ‘shake the hand’ when the attacker of Enzo was revealed.
@InnerN3rd Last week Graves said he would shake the hand of whoever it was. Last night he shook Cass’ hand. What does that tell you?
