It has been confirmed by WWE that Braun Strowman will be taking on Roman Reigns at the upcoming WWE Fastlane PPV. The feud began when Strowman took out Reigns at the 2017 Royal Rumble, costing him his chance at the WWE Universal Title. Roman Reigns returned the favor on RAW, costing Strowman a chance at the belt. Roman Reigns vs Braun Strowman is official for Fastlane.
This is an interesting match up for WWE because of how strongly they have pushed both Reigns and Strowman over the past year. Reigns is rumored to be facing the Undertaker at Wrestlemania 33 and it is doubtful WWE wants him going into that match off a loss. On the other hand, Strowman has been booked like a monster over the past year and it is doubtful WWE wants him to take a big loss before Wrestlemania.
Rumors are circulating that the finish of the Roman Reigns vs Braun Strowman match at Fastlane is going to be booked to make both guys look good. This means that there will be some sort of screwy finish that allows both of them to avoid a clean loss heading into Wrestlemania 33.

Could we see the Undertaker make an appearance to take out Reigns? That would make sense if WWE wants to build their match for Wrestlemania. Reigns was the one who eliminated the Deadman from the Royal Rumble.
It is unclear what the plans will be for Strowman at Wrestlemania 33. WWE hasn’t built him up for this long to just take a pin from Reigns at Fastlane. Expect Strowman to still look good at the event, regardless of the outcome.
